Honestly, now.

A very muddy me

Like I mentioned before, I went to mudfest this past weekend.  I didn’t even take out my camera for fear that it would be destroyed.  However, these is one photo of a muddy me.  I stole this from Drew.  Note to self: really need to start jogging.  Nothing like coming to a country where the people are mostly thin and the the culture is such that a very high priority is placed on looks to really make you hyper-aware of your own body.  Two days until China!  :-)

Mary and I are looking at tickets to Thailand.  (Possibly Hong Kong.) I’d go for about a week.  A whole wonderful week of being a beach bum.  Just Mary, myself, some good books and sketch pads.  We requested tickets (we found some for ridiculously cheap) and are just waiting to see if it went through.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed.  Plans should be solidified by this Saturday.

Still don’t have any future job plans.  Things tend to be rather last-minute here in the Land of the Morning Calm.  I probably won’t know anything until the end of August.  However, I feel confident about it.  Mostly because I have friends here and now know what questions to ask.

A questions for the Lawrence kids out there…..are there any plans for SellOut to play during September? Thanks.
