Recently, I’ve had a nasty sore throat. I completely lost my voice on Friday and got sent home from work. I went home and crashed for a while, only to wake up at about 10pm. Unable to get back to sleep, I took a walk with Chris.
While walking, we went by a convenience store. I wanted to get something to drink. Unfortuantely, Chris was a little ways ahead of me and I couldn’t speak loud enough to get this attention. So I clapped. Chris turned around and I went into the store. The guy who runs the place gave me inquisitive look. So in fractured Korean, I tried to explain. He laughed, walked over to the door, and clapped his hands twice. Sure enough, Chris came over to see what the heck was going on. Which only made the guy laugh harder. He said something in Korean and then, seeing that I didn’t understand, gave me a thumbs up and said, “Good idea!”
Apparently, he believes Chris to be whipped.
