I have a lot going on in my head. Currently, the loudest thought is the unrelenting, pounding question of…….
What should I do in 2008?
Seem a bit extreme? Well, it is. A bit. I want to go back to school. I just don’t know for what. Here a few of the results from my last career test:
Preferences for Anne fully support being perceptually, subconsciously, and consciously aware of fantasy, symbols, symbolic relationships, abstract ideas, options, and choice of options as they relate to creative or innovative activities. Perception triggers ideas in Anne’s mind, a process that just happens – a process often called intuition.
Okay, I can see that.
Anne is conscious of existence, meaning, purpose, potential and destiny of humankind, people, and self.
Don’t know how true that is, but I certainly like the way it sounds.
Anne prefers and may even require change and variety. Sameness and routine cause loss of interest, drive, and energy. Anne probably sees a truth in the saying “a change is as good as a rest.” This individual enjoys vocation, recreation, and/or vacations that include lots of change and variety, new challenges and experiences as well as new contacts and acquaintances.
Can’t argue with that.
Deadlines do not motivate Anne as they only increase the pressure.
I could not agree more. It goes on and it’s pretty accurate. So here’s my job list.

Hmm, well the first two passages seem rather vague to me. I mean, who ISNT conscious of existence?
But anyway, that last one is dead on.
You could do any of those listed occupations and rock the casbah with room to spare in each and every one.
Well maybe not the pilot/ship one…hmm.
I can’t help you narrow it down though. The embarrassment of riches that is your personality and skill set make it tough to focus on ONE vocation. I had the same problem for a long time until I somehow found myself in a situation that really felt like a fit for me.
You should…damn I don’t know.
A librarian who moonlights by piloting ships while solving crimes AND prosecuting the very criminals she’s tracked down…then counseling them after their breakdown in court after her steely interrogation. Afterwards, you could write your own memoirs, edit them, publish them.
And I’d sell them in my bookstore.
All joking aside…yeah, I really have no f’n idea kid.

Anne, I’d suggest thinking about getting a TEFL certificate or something like it. It would qualify you to teach English to adults, most likely, and often highly intelligent and highly motivated business professionals around the world. With a certification like this you can write you own ticket around the world. Move to a new place, city, country, culure, language, etc. and stay as long as you want. When you’re bored, move on. There’s high demand all over the world for good teachers with this sort of qualification.
